Overview

 

The customer needs a cost-effective smart pressure measurement device with low power consumption and higher battery reserve, which can work continuously in the harsh environment of industrial plants. In addition, the customer wants to develop two variants of it, one with basic functions and one with advanced functions like Data read/write via Bluetooth, PC/Mobile connectivity, and Alarm settings.

 

Engibrains offered 16-bit MCU and Nordic BLE SoC-based engineering solutions from initial concept to mass production. During the feasibility phase, we designed and developed a PC utility over RS485 to validate POC. After the successful POC validation, our HW/SW engineers carefully performed the BOM completion and started the hardware design in parallel with the firmware development. Our QA team proactively started laying the foundation for an automated test suite to ensure the quality of the developed HW and SW, containing extensive test cases(1000+ in total). Team Engibrains has delivered working prototypes along with the desired throughput and feature set. We also help our customers in the pre-compliance process and have successfully completed all tests mentioned in the specification of the targeted certification. After the successful field trial and the final validation, our QA team designed and developed a custom Testjig needed to support functional test and signal tests integrated into a manufacturing line to increase test efficiency and production yield. Team Engibrains successfully delivered 1000 working units within the stipulated time frame.
