Overview

Engibrains provided a solution to port FFmpeg library H.264 decoding and evaluate what resolution of H.264 encoded video can be decoded gracefully into a custom target platform. In addition to that, we performed an analysis of which memory buffers becomes the bottleneck to decode larger resolution video. Our firmware engineers’ expertise with all the audio, video, and container formats of multimedia encoding and decoding FFmpeg library helped us to expedite the development phase. Along with this, we have successfully executed profiling of video decoding with different small-resolution videos.
